GIT launches its target group portals with www.inspect-online.com
Darmstadt, 13 July 2009 - the re-launch of www.inspect-online.com, the prominent European branch portal for Imaging and Machine Vision, forms the prelude of a whole new set of B2B target group portals by the GIT VERLAG, which will gradually start this year.
Besides current reports, industry news and product information the new portal will provide webcasts, whitepapers and the buyers guide. Furthermore, the portal will soon post webinars by and for industry experts of Imaging and Machine Vision. Thus the portal offers a set of attractive possibilities for Lead-generation, which is significant for B2B marketing managers particularly in economically challenging times.
“With strategy, conception, IT and layout we primarily oriented ourselves with the successful B2B-media-websites and Best Cases from the U.S. market” commented project manager Markus Caspari, Business Development Manager at GIT VERLAG. “With the infrastructure we consistently went with open source. In particular with the content management system we avoided being dependent on proprietary solutions, which are usually only supported on a local basis in a few countries. We see the innovative cycles of a large, international development Community as a further advantage. Moreover the websites are scalable and can be adapted by our colleagues at other locations by independent local partners” Markus Caspari explained.
The main content is based on the print publications range of topics: VISION (Components and Technologies), CONTROL (Material Testing and Measuring Instruments), as well as AUTOMATION (Measurement, Inspection, Identification and Guidance).
To ensure a well rounded product the online and print publication are compiled by one editorial team. Industry expert Gabriele Jansen is Editor-in-Chief and Publishing Director for www.inspect-online.com and the print publication. Only an organization that operates cross-media can offer genuine and reliable cross-media marketing solutions with attractive conditions.
“The new portal is in German and English, as the internationalization strategy apart from the significant development of our B2B-Online activities and our direct marketing services (print and online) is a crucial component of our growth strategy” said Dr. Michael Schön, Managing Director of GIT VERLAG.
“With this relaunch and the following new B2B portals it can be seen, that we not only advise our customers to anticyclical action, but that we act with courage and conviction. Now is a suitable time for extensive investments,” Dr. Michael Schön said.
