VIP – VISIONS IN PLASTICS
Polymers for a Sustainable Future
Sustainability is the megatrend of the 21st century.
Today, public awareness of sustainability is constantly increasing — not a single day passes without media coverage of new concepts for climatic protection or the conservation of natural resources. Highly visible signs of an upcoming climatic change and constantly rising energy prices remind us of the acuteness of the situation.
In the past, the public was often skeptical when it came to technological developments. Now it welcomes and supports technological advances to meet this global challenge. Plastics are the key to a sustainable development, to the conservation of natural resources and to climate protection.
CHEManager and CHEManager Europe’s VIP – Visions in Plastics shows which fascinating perspectives the use of plastics can offer in generating sustainability.
In its third year, VIP introduces the latest concepts, products and solutions for greater sustainability from the plastics industry. It presents newest materials, products and applications as well as novel processing techniques where energy and material consumption and harmful pollution can be reduced or minimized.
VIP – Visons in plastics will be supplemented in the October-issues of CHEManager and CHEManager Europe, will be distributed at the Fakuma 2012 and other relevant plastics events and will be printed with a total print run of 65,000 issues
